Player joins Fulwell
Rob Dinwiddie, who during his initial season on the European tour last year shot a course record at Wentworth in the PGA Tournament and qualified for the American Open, has just joined Fulwell Golf Club in Hampton Hill.
Fulwell provides Rob with the perfect base from which to practice whilst at home from a frenetic life on tour. The Championship course offers a rural parkland oasis within the local metropolis and has long been associated with some of Golf’s greatest names. Designed and opened in 1904 by five times Open Championship winner, JH Taylor and for many years home to the BBC golf commentator, writer and teacher Bill Cox.
You can keep up with Rob’s progress by viewing his European Tour blog on line
at
www.robdinwiddie.com
and his page on this website.
In addition to Rob, Fulwell has another representative, Tom Reid, currently playing on the satellite Euro Pro Tour, trying hard to progress to Golf’s international stage. Tom has developed through the Club’s junior ranks and is testament to the calibre of Fulwell’s course and practice facilities. Please see
his page in which Tom offers an overview of his Rookie year as a Professional.
We wish them both well for the forthcoming season and hope our local golfers can bring home some international success.
Fulwell currently has 7 day membership available and has just halved its joining fees. So, as Rob has found, there has never been a better time to join this attractive Club, that prides itself as being
“One of London’s
finest”.
